Apple Vision Pro’s environments have been one of the most fascinating aspects of the device allowing users to fully immerse themselves in entirely different places.

Cool Hunting recently published a fantastic article explaining how these environments are created. The piece focuses on the collaboration between Apple and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in producing one of the newer environments: Jupiter.

My personal favorite environment would have to be Mount Hood. It is an absolutely beautiful setting. The snow covered mountain, the water, the surrounding forest, and the sense of scale all combine to create a place that feels calm and expansive. What really makes it special is that it is not only visually impressive but also carefully designed from an audio perspective. The subtle environmental sounds add another layer to the experience and help make the environment feel surprisingly real.
